Welcome to the class-action lawsuit against Foodora / Hungry Denmark!

We're a group of former Hungry / Foodora delivery drivers who sue Foodora Denmark for holiday money (Feriepenge). We have registered a class-action lawsuit, so that any former Hungry or Foodora rider can join in. Since we're applying for legal aid (fri proces), this will be free. You can take a look at the receipts HERE.

It is not necessary to reside in Denmark to join. You can read more detailed information on everything in our FAQ section below

In order to represent us in court, we have founded an association. This is standard practice in Denmark. Membership is and will always be free. You can read the association's statutes HERE.

Please register for the association by sending an e-mail to info@foodora-lawsuit.dk with the following information:

- Your full name

- Your current address (incl. post code, city and country)

- Your work contract or a payslip as an attachment. We'll need that to prove that you have in fact worked for Hungry / Foodora.

Follow us on social media to keep up to date: Facebook / Instagram.

And we'd like to ask for a favor: Do you know any other former Foodora or Hungry riders? If yes, please invite them in!

Frequently asked questions (FAQ):

Didn't we sign a contract that made us freelancers?

The status as freelancer or employee can't be agreed on by contract parties - otherwise any employer could pressure their workers into declaring themselves freelancers and thereby avoid paying holiday money. Instead, a set of criteria (such as the degree of control a company has over the person doing the work) is used to determine who is what. Both us and our lawyer are confident that Foodora riders fulfilled these criteria.

How much holiday money (feriepenge) can I get?

12.5% of your salary plus interest rates for delayed payment.

Does it matter if I only worked for them when they were still called "Hungry"?

No, absolutely not. The brand name changed, but it was always the same company. Feel free to join!

I don't live in Denmark anymore. Can I join?

Yes, you can. If you worked for Hungry and / or Foodora in Denmark, you can join from abroad.

I'm in a similar situation because I've worked for Wolt Denmark. Can I join?

No, unfortunately not. You would have to sue Wolt Denmark in a separare lawsuit.

I've heard that Foodora is in the process of liquidation. What does that mean?

It means that they are in the process of legally closing the company. But don't worry - our lawsuit was registered in time to be considered by the courts!

Can't they just declare themselves bankrupt?

They can. But even in that case there'd be means and ways to pursue the payment of our holiday money. It would complicate our court case, but it would certainly not make it impossible!
